Update from the Presidential Search Committee
Dear Members of the Yale Community,
It has been a busy month since President Salovey announced his decision to step down. The Presidential Search Committee has been hard at work, and we are pleased to announce that we have appointed Maurie McInnis '96 PhD as Yale's 24th president.
McInnis is currently the president of Stony Brook University. She is a renowned scholar and administrator who has a deep understanding of Yale's mission and values. We are confident that she will be an outstanding leader for our university.
McInnis will assume the role of Yale president on July 1, 2023. We look forward to working with her to lead Yale into a new era of excellence.
